A French platinum and enamel, keyless dress watch, circa 1925. A polished case, wide bezel, the case back with circular black champleve enamel monogram DBA. Silver, engine-turned dial, inner Roman chapter ring for the hours, outer minute track with Arabic five-minute numerals and blued steel halberd hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Dial and case signed Cartier, movement signed E.W & C. Co. Inc.
