A an exceptionally large Fri(e)dberg verge watch with blue enamel dial, made by Paul Banruker in Fri(e)dberg, Germany, circa 1790. The case of this watch was crafted from silver, is hinged on both sides and has the maker’s mark “PTT”. The blue enamel face representing a spider’s web has an enamel dial in the center with Arabic fifteen minutes- and Roman hour numerals with steel hands. The movement has a verge escapement.
The movement is signed.
