Pocket watch with central date dial
–
A very rare calendar watch made by Hahn Hofmechanikus in Stuttgart, Germany, circa 1800. The open faced plain case of this watch was crafted from silver and the white enamel dial has Arabic five minute- and hour numerals, a date indicator in the center and beautiful gold hands. The full plate movement with typical Hahn construction has a cylinder escapement.
The dial and movement are signed.
