A very fine and rare French ultra thin platinum and diamond set open faced watch, circa 1925. Manual winding lever movement double stamped with the seal of Geneva, jeweled. Two-tone guilloché silvered dial, Arabic numerals to the matte chapter ring, outer minute track. The case band and bow set with diamonds, cabochon diamond set crown, snap on case back with central gold inlaid monogram. Dial signed Cartier, movement numbered, case hand stamped with Cartier reference numbers and French hallmarks. With an associated platinum and diamond set openwork chain. The total diamond weight is approximately 1.25 cts.
