Gold hunting cased keyless verge watch with chain

A fine Swiss 14 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch with chain, dating to the first half of the 19th century. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a verge escapement and screwed chatons. The white enamel dial features black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and ornate golden Louis XV style hands. The timepiece is housed in a 14 carat solid yellow gold full hunter savonette case with moss guilloché decoration. It has a hinged protective front cover, a fluted winding crown, and a round suspension bow. The watch comes with a matching long-link gold chain measuring 39 cm and weighing 14 g.
