–
A fine Swiss 14 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch with chain, dating from the first half of the 19th century. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a verge escapement and stone pallets, protected by a metal inner cuvette. The white enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold Louis XV style hands. The timepiece is housed in an old 14 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case with moss guilloché decoration, featuring a hinged protective front cover, a fluted winding crown, and a round suspension bow. The watch comes with a matching 14 carat gold chain measuring 44 cm long and weighing 17 g.
