A beautiful, large two coloured dress watch with minute repeater, made by Gübelin AG in Luzern, Switzerland, for Tiffany & Co in New York, United States of America, circa 1925. The numbered open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat white and yellow gold, has a relief rim on both sides on the bow and the case and a monogram on the back lid. The silvered dial has gold Breguet hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 0’clock and gold hands. The top-quality movement features a highly refined precision lever escapement, a minute repeater, Geneva striping, three adjustments and 23 jewels.
The case, dial and movement are signed.
