Yellow gold pocket watch accompanied by a presentation case

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold keyless open faced dress watch, made by Patek Philippe & Co. in Geneva, circa 1955. The watch has a round yellow gold case with a snap back, engraved with stylised initials and the date 17.10.1955. Outside, it is stamped with JG and the maker’s key 9. The cream dial is signed and features baton hour markers, applied Arabic numerals, a minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial, and gold baton hands. It has a mechanical movement with crown winding, decorated with Côtes de Genève, lever escapement, and a balance with micrometric adjustment. The movement is signed Patek Philippe & Co. Genève. The watch is presented in a case stamped Guillermin.
