A fine Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel scallop shell form pendant watch with concealed dial, circa 1800. A shell shaped case, the spring loaded front cover reveals the dial, both sides are identically decorated with royal blue, black and green enamel, and a chain suspension ring. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A hinged gilt brass full plate movement with engraved decoration, going barrel, cylinder escapement, plain three arm brass balance, single footed cock, polished steel endplate and an index regulator.
