An exceptional Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced perpetual calendar pocket watch with moon phases, made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1940. It has a high grade mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement. It features eight adjustments, a micrometre regulator, and an eighteen jewel train, signed Patek Philippe & Co Genève. The matte cream enamel dial has applied gold Arabic numerals and dot hour markers. There is a subsidiary dial for the month and leap year cycle at 12 o’clock, a subsidiary dial for the days of the week at 9 o’clock, a subsidiary dial for the date at 3 o’clock, and an integrated moon phase aperture with a subsidiary seconds track at 6 o’clock. The dial has sleek gold hands and is signed Patek Philippe Genève.

The timepiece is housed in a smooth round three body, 18 carat solid rose gold open faced case with a plain polished reverse back cover, a fluted winding crown, and a sturdy round suspension bow. The pocket watch comes with a Patek Philippe protective pouch.
