A lovely Swiss 18 carat yellow gold, painted-on enamel and pearl-set pocket watch, circa 1800. Made for the Chinese market. The case with polychrome painted-on enamel, a bouquet of summer flowers, lilac-coloured ground, bezels, a pendant and a bow set with split pearls. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute and seconds divisions, and original gold hands. Cylinder escapement, Signed on the dial and movement signed Boyer A Genève.
