A Swiss gilt metal, enamel, and pearl-set center seconds watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1860, jeweled gilt Chinese duplex movement, balance with halberd-style screwed weights, finely chased and engraved with foliate scrolls.
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions.
Gilt metal case, the back with polychrome enamel depicting summer flowers, both bezels and bow highlighted with split pearls, movement signed.
