Fine heavy gold watch with six complications

A fine large and heavy minute repeating calendar and chronograph watch with six complications by Maurice Ditisheim, circa 1896-1899.
An 18 carat pink gold, hunting golden cased watch, three gold lids, solid quality, dome with medals. Gilt glazed lever movement. Fine regulation, 30 Rubis, Breguet spring, chronograph, slide in the band to operate the repeating of hours, quarters and minutes, display of date, weekday, month and the moon phase.
Perfect enamel dial, decorative gold hands, very nice condition of preservation, Front bezel opened by depressing the button in the gold pendant. extremely fine collector’s watch.

Maurice Ditisheim (1831-1899)
Swiss watchmaker and entrepreneur.
In 1858 Ditisheim opened a workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds that quickly grew into the manufactory “Maurice Ditisheim”; in 1894 the factory began producing watches under the brand name “Vulcain”. Ditisheim was one of the first patrons of the MIH (Musée International d’Horlogerie), which was the the international watch museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Some very small not disturbing dents, overall in very good condition.
