A Swiss gold, pearl set, and enamel open faced keywind verge pendant watch with a matching chatelaine, circa 1800. This watch features a gilded movement with an intricately pierced and engraved balance cock, a verge escapement, chain and fusee, and round baluster pillars. It has a gilt, engine turned dial adorned with Arabic numerals, an outer minute track, and gold serpentine hands. The gold case has pearl set bezels, while the back showcases translucent purple enamel over engine turning. The watch is accompanied by a gilt metal, enamel, and pearl set chatelaine, with panels featuring woven hair bordered by translucent enamel over engine turning and pearls.
