A heavy Swiss quarter repeating verge pocket watch with two Jacquemarts and concealed erotic automaton à trois couleurs, circa 1800. Full plate movement, keywound, chain/fusee, two hammers, two gongs and three armed brass balance. Dial with two Jacquemarts, a man and a woman in period garments, striking the hours with their hammers onto two large bells that are visible in the upper half of the dial, a small white enamel chapter ring with Arabic hours to the centre, the concealed automaton below 6 has small sliding doors decorated with a fruit basket and an altar of love, the doors open whenever the repeater is activated and the erotic chased, three coloured gold scene comes to life depicting a couple making love on a Recamier sofa. 18 Carat gold case.
