A fine and Swiss, 18 carat gold, painted enamel key wind open faced pocket watch, circa 1800.
Gilt full plate chain and fusee verge movement with pierced and engraved balance bridge and silver regulation disc.
White enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, black outer minute divisions with Arabic numeral five minute markers, winding aperture at 2, gilt beetle and poker style hands.
Hinged consular case with enamel decorated reverse depicting a young boy with flora and fauna. Signed movement, case stamped NC.
