An impressive and heavy lever chronometer with full calendar and moon phase with original mahogany box, circa 1885.

An 18 carat gold engine turned cased, enamel dial, roman numerals, subsidiary dials, 2/3 plate movement, lateral lever escapement, gold screw compensation balance.

This hunting cased pocket watch is noticeably heavy and also very large, making for a wonderfully comfortable feel when the watch is held.
For all its many indications, the dial is elegant and clear cut. The movement is in pristine original condition.
