A unique Swiss extremely rare 18 Carat gold and enamel lyre form watch of museum quality set with a large diamond, circa 1800. Comes with the original presentation box with an embossed nobility crown and the initials S.V.
Case in the shape of a lyre, an enamelled spring cover, the polychrome enamel scene depicting a lady playing the lyre, at the lower end the teardrop-shaped slide for opening the spring cover set with an exceptionally large diamond, under the spring cover is a small white enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track and black steel hands. Oval bridge movement with cylinder escapement.
