Heavy open faced pocket watch by Louis Audemars

A rare and heavy Swiss pocket watch specially made for Richard Oliver, Brooklyn, New York, with fine adjusting according his patent of May 9, 1882.
The case is 18 carat pink gold with case maker’s punch mark “RO” (Richard James Oliver, New York). The dial is white enamel, signed, has Roman numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, 4/5 plate movement, screw compensation balance.
