A gold open faced skeletonised quarter repeating automaton watch with later enamel plaque, circa 1800. Gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, gilt cuvette, white enamel chapter ring, Breguet numerals, skeletonised background with classical figures holding hammers for striking action, gold case, band with engraved foliate decoration, later polychrome enamel plaque to the back depicting Leda and the swan.
