A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless wind pocket watch, circa 1895. Retailed by A. Maurer. Gilded brass movement, going barrel, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, à moustaches, compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, patented index regulator with snail cam adjuster. Dial with Arabic numerals and sunken with subsidiary seconds at 6. Plain case. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered.
