A Swiss 14 carat rose gold minute repeating hunting cased keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1885. Retailed by M.S. Smith & Co, Detroit, Michigan. Nickel finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding, repeating on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Later monogrammed case, coin edged rims. Dial and movement signed.
