A Swiss silver-gilt, enamel and split pearl-set open faced centre seconds cylinder pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1860. Gilt movement, cylinder escapement, key wound. Hinged glazed cuvette. White enamel dial. The case back with polychrome enamel depicting a bouquet over green ground, bezels and bow set with split pearls. Dial signed, case numbered and signed with Chinese characters.
