A fine and rare French rock crystal, 18 carat white gold, platinum and diamond set open faced keyless pocket watch made by Cartier in Paris, circa 1925. Nickel finished lever movement with 18 jewels and a bimetallic compensation balance. Engine turned matte silvered dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track and blued moon hands. The case is secured by three screws on the front, has a diamond set motif bordered by diamond setting on the back and the bezel and bow on the reverse are further set with diamonds. Dial and movement signed, the case with a hand stamped number.
