A fine Swiss/Danish 18 carat gold full hunter five-minute repeating pocket watch, circa 1885. Nickel movement jewelled to the centre, wolf’s tooth winding, cut and compensated balance, two polished hammers striking on two gongs via a slide in the band at 6, glazed exhibition back.
White enamel dial with slim Roman numerals, large subsidiary seconds and fine-blued steel moon hands.
Heavy 18 carat gold case with engine-turned covers and typical Jurgensen bow setting. Case, dial and movement signed.
