A Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced keyless pocket watch, circa 1885. A solid, polished case with fluted bezels. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track with red Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and gold hands. Nickel plated movement, going barrel, gold train of wheels, gold screwed chaton on the central wheel, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, gold escape wheel counter pivot plate, cut bimetallic compensated balance and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with swanneck spring and micrometric screw.
