An excellent Swiss 18 carat pink gold five minute repeating keyless pocket watch, circa 1874. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved floral and leaf decorated. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and five minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands. Matte gilt movement, twenty jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Cuvette signed, cuvette and inner front cover numbered.
