A fine, early and rare, Swiss, manual wind, 18-carat yellow gold hunting cased pocket watch with eccentric subsidiary seconds, circa 1874. Gilt finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, eccentric subsidiary seconds between the 7 and 8 o’clock, and Breguet hands. Polished 18-carat yellow gold case with a hinged back. Case signed. Accompanied by a fitted box and spare crystal.
