A rare splendour hunting caseD pocket watch with pivoted detent escapement, circa 1884. 18k gold case, lavishly florally engraved and chased, a goutte, signed gold dome, case maker’s punch mark “FN” Dial is silvered/gold plated, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, signed, engine-turned, diamond-set, filigrane hands florally engraved, applied foliate gold ornaments. 3/4 plate movement, decorated, nickel-plated, screwed gold chatons, 16 jewels,  bimetallic chronometer balance with 2 weights and 8 screws, freesprung blued spherical balance spring, chatoned diamond endstone on balance, pivoted detent escapment
