A Swiss very heavy Louis XV single button chronograph with high-grade movement, circa 1885.
Very heavy and high-quality 18 carat pink gold case, exquisite “à goutte” edition with mounted gold monogram and lateral hinge; Ankerchronometer movement prime quality with special lever, solid golden wheels and highly polished chronograph parts in contrast to the blued steel screws; white enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, sunk subsidiary dial for the seconds, centre chronograph hand and pink gold Louis XV hands.
