A rare Swiss, very fine precision hunting cased pocket watch, lever chronometer, circa 1885.
18 carat gold, engine turned, monogrammed, à goutte case with numbered, signed and engine turned gold dome. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, Arabic minutes, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. Signed nickel-plated bridge movement with “fausses côtes” decoration, screwed gold chatons, wolfteeth winding wheels, gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
