A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in the 1880s. The gilt brass bridge caliber movement with 10 jewels, a cylinder escapement, three arm monometallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. Hinged gold cuvette. A porcelain dial with black Roman hours, outer minute divisions, red Arabic five minute numerals and blued steel spade hands. The solid, polished case with a round bezel and hinged engraved back. Dial, case and cuvette signed, movement signed and numbered.
