A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting-cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch with a triple date calendar, chronograph and moon phases, circa 1890. Frosted gilt movement, 32 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, chronograph with visible work activated by a push-piece in the band. Gold-hinged cuvette engraved with the technical details, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week and the seconds with inner moon phase aperture, aperture for the months below 12 and original gold spade hands. Massive, engine-turned case, the front with a vacant cartouche. Case and cuvette signed E.J. Jaccard & Cie, movement signed LeCoultre & Cie under the hour hammer.
